HSA, Fighting for Cook County's Housestaff and Patients Since 1974

The House Staff Association of Cook County is one of the oldest house staff unions in the country. Since 1974 we have represented the interns, residents, and fellows of John H. Stroger Hospital (formerly Cook County Hospital). We use our collective voice to negotiate with Cook County to improve the lives of our house staff and patients. Our impact is strengthened through our affiliation with NUHHCE (National Union of Hospital and Healthcare Employees).
